FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: device has crown body, friction elements, destroying surface0adjacent rock layer by heating, cutters, separating this layer, and washing ports. In body cylindrical channels perpendicular to plane of crown end are made, in hollow of each of which a drive is moveably positioned in form of a cylindrical column and a cutter support. Drive is made of material with effect of shape memory.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
