FIELD: mechanical engineering; high pressure pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed pump has housing, head with insert connected with housing which accommodates delivery valve communicating with outlet channel. It has also floating sleeve in contact with insert, plunger installed in sleeve, sealing unit and suction valve. Suction and delivery valves are arranged coaxially with plunger. Insert is arranged in head and housing for pressing sealing unit installed coaxially on plunger and thrusting at one side against end face of sleeve and at other side, against housing member. Housing overlaps joint between insert and sleeve. Axial space is made in plunger communicating with make-up chamber and with axial channel of suction valve which is secured in end face hole of plunger and forms working chamber mating with axial channel of delivery valve.

EFFECT: provision of reliable operation at simple design.
