FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the field of machine building, in particular in ultrahigh pressure plunger pumps, which are used as power set of highly efficient hydraulic cutting complexes. Device comprises body and head joined to it with block of valves. Forcing valve is connected to outlet channel of working fluid, for instance with cutting nozzle. Suction valve coaxial to it is connected to inlet channel of working fluid supply into cylinder. Driving pair plunger - spring-loaded cartridge is installed in cylinder coaxially to valves. Cavity is available between cylinder and body. Communication channel is arranged between outlet channel of forcing valve and this cavity. Both valves are installed inside body. Internal surface of cartridge is arranged as conic with creation of gap between this surface and plunger, which value varies.
EFFECT: increased reliability and resource of plunger pump operation, by exclusion of effect of cyclic stretching stresses at block of valves, cylinder and design elements installed in them, by exclusion of difference between internal pressure in working chamber and pressure at external surface of working chamber during pump operation.
