FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for measuring linear sizes of objects. Device has pneumatic unit, measuring member, mounted spring-loaded at flexible guide that has form of a parallelepiped. Guide is cut through with at least three cross-slots located in staggered order. Slots are made in perpendicular to line of measurement to provide elastic deformation of guide in the direction of line of measurement. Measuring members can be installed as between two flexible guides and on opposite sides of two guides.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurement; reduced weight of device; prolonged service life.
