FIELD: building high-voltage switching devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vacuum switch has support insulators in each phase, vacuum arc-control chamber and its contacts disconnecting gear, as well as main movable and fixed contacts, and movable breaking contact. Movable contacts are intercoupled. In addition switch is provided with shaft incorporating leverage for transferring rotary motion from operating mechanism. Vacuum arc-control chamber is installed on main fixed contact. Disconnecting gear has contact roller engageable with shaped pushrod secured on movable breaking contact. Profile of pushrod surface is formed by two circle arcs with center disposed on axis of revolution of breaking contact.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design, and reduced size of switch.
