SUBSTANCE: contact unit of automatic circuit breaker comprises the main contacts, arc-quenching contacts, spring of contact pressing and traction rods. Unit additionally comprises a pair of insulating cases arranged in the form of round discs with central axis of rotation each, installed with the possibility of rotation around their axes and contact, and is fixed with the possibility of rotation around their axes and contact of end surfaces of cases under action of contact pressing spring forces. Besides, the main and arc-quenching contact are fixed on end surface of case from the side of contact with the other case.

EFFECT: reduced wear of contact surface of main contacts and own time of circuit breaker disconnection.
