FIELD: electrical engineering; driving vibrating tools and other vibration-operated devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic vibrator characterized in simple design and ability of compound motion has two ferromagnetic rings with skew-pole slits passing ac current-carrying bus through them. Elastic coupling is provided between working parts of vibrator. Current flow through bus builds up alternating magnetic attraction forces between poles whose skewing yields two components of these forces, that is normal and tangential ones.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
