FIELD: electrical engineering; driving vibrating tools and other vibration-using facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic ac vibrator has electromagnet and armature made in the form of two similar movable working parts which are mounted in a spaced relation to one another and disposed on ac bus. Each of mentioned working parts is, essentially, pair of ferromagnetic semi-rings joined together by means of nonmagnetic washers. One of end surfaces in middle part of semi-ring has projection whose height H equals semi-ring height h and projection length L is shorter than clearance δ between semi-rings. Desired vibration amplitude is obtained by increasing attractive force between movable parts.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
