FIELD: metallurgy, namely methods of descaling with use of liquid.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding liquid by means of odd number, at least by means of three streams whose axes are laid in the same plane. Streams are inclined relative to surface of moved article. Height and liquid pressure of streams are regulated depending upon results of continuous measurement of temperature field of article surface during its motion. Streams are simultaneously moved along cross axis of article relative to stationary central stream whose axis is laid in plane passing through lengthwise axis of article. Streams fed at both sides of central fixed one are moved in mutually opposite directions by the same distance. At changing height and inclination angle of streams during their simultaneous motion, overlap of adjacent faces of streams on surface of article consists 0.07 - 0.09 of width of stream torch.

EFFECT: high quality of descaling surface of articles in real time mode depending upon characteristics of scale.
