FIELD: technological processes; cleaning technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of cleaning internal surfaces of tanks from residues of arsenic-containing organochlorine polymer compounds that have adhesion to the tank material and can be used in chemical and other industries. Method for cleaning the inner surface of tanks from residues of arsenic-containing organochlorine polymer compounds includes cutting along the axis of the cistern a hole for mounting the steaming apparatus, introducing into the volume of the cistern of the steaming machine. Steaming machine consists of a hollow shaft with a rotating cylindrical tip with two mobile hollow telescopic rods mounted on it with the main working and additional nozzles at the ends. Method also includes treating the contaminated surface with a working agent by feeding it through nozzles under pressure. Main working nozzles through which the working agent is sprayed onto the surface being cleaned are installed coaxially with telescopic tubes. Additional nozzles providing rotation of the telescopic rods due to the energy of the jet of the working agent are installed in mutually opposite directions and at an angle of 90° to the axis of telescopic rods.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the efficiency of cleaning the inner surface of tanks from hard-to-remove residues of arsenic-containing organochlorine polymer compounds.
