FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel devices of internal combustion engines and it can be used in engines of all types with fuel-air metering and mixing devices, except engines. Proposed device for preparing fuel-air mixtures for internal combustion engines with external mixture preparation systems contains gauze installed under devices for metering and mixing of fuel and air. Device is made streamlined in form of cone with oval top or curved line and is provided with one, two or more layers assembled with gaskets placed in between. Edges of device are soldered or pressed around with heat-, gasoline-and oil-resistant material.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of device without changing main overall dimensions at reduction of consumption of materials, enlarged sphere of application with provision of maximum effect when operating the engines.
