FIELD: power industry; devices for separation of materials by density with the help of a flotation method.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a device for separation of a pulp and is dealt with separation of materials by density using a flotation method. It may be used, for example, for extraction of the hollow microspheres from ash-and-slag pulp at the combined heat power plants, hydroelectric power plants, thermoelectric power plants. The technical result is an increased output of the microspheres, reliability and efficiency of the device. The device includes a working chamber with a bottom inclined along the course of traffic of a pulp, a damper, aids for delivery of a pulp and a withdrawal of its light and heavy factions. The working chamber is made with a single-stage bottom, which forms with a rear wall of the working chamber and the basis of the stage a container - accumulator for the heavy fraction. The damper is made in the form of a package out of the pipes rigidly linked to each other and located perpendicularly to the stream of the pulp. The aid for withdrawal of the heavy faction is made in the form of an auger. The device in addition has: a delivery tray with a receiving filtering screen installed between the working chamber and the aid for delivery of the pulp at an angle of 15-30 ° to the horizontal of the working chamber and without a rigid connection with the aid of the pulp delivery; a float regulator of a liquid mounted apart of no more than 5 cm from edge of top ends of the pipes of the damper; a branch-pipe for withdrawal of the clarified water.

EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased output of the microspheres, reliability and efficiency of the device.
