FIELD: railway transport; automatic train driving.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains track and speed pickup connected to computer unit and installed on axle of wheelset of locomotive or head car of electric train and connected with said axle by guide. Two series-connected receiving coils are provided whose free leads are connected to input of locomotive receiver. Output of receiver is connected to computer unit through first matching unit. Computer unit is made for determining train speed by repeated pulse frequency, and value of covered distance from moment of starting, by of pulses, with possibility of determination of linear coordinate of border of passed block-section basing on analysis of coded pulse signal from cab signaling system received from output of receiver and putting out signal of passing of block-section border and data on requirement of introduction of correction to calculated value of covered distance. Acceleration pickup installed on axle box unit of locomotive or head car operates when wheelset passes over but joint. Acceleration pickup is connected to computer unit through second matching unit and, basing on signal received from acceleration pickup, computer unit verifies linear coordinate of border of passed block-section.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of measuring linear coordinate of train location.
