FIELD: configuration of helicopter equipped with additional external fuel tanks for increase of fuel capacity and flying range.
SUBSTANCE: proposed helicopter has fuselage, main external fuel tanks and additional external fuel tanks located above main tanks and fasteners for securing them to fuselage. Each additional external fuel tank is secured on two supports by means of four duplicated ropes and is separated from fuselage by means of bracing struts; four bracing struts are secured to three fasteners of front support and to upper and lower brackets of fuselage; four other bracing struts are secured to three fasteners of rear support and to upper and lower rear brackets; middle fastener of front support is additionally connected with upper rear bracket of fuselage by means of bracing strut and middle fastener of support is connected with lower front bracket of fuselage by means of bracing strut.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; avoidance of thermal effect of engine exhaust gases on tanks.
