FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft technology, namely to methods of installing fuel tanks on a helicopter. Method of assembling suspension of fuel tanks on a helicopter includes installation on fuselage of a frame-frame structure, installation of lodgements on it with subsequent installation of additional fuel tanks on them and adjustment of the length of the rods. Bolts fixing lodgements and struts must enter the holes from the easy tapping with a dural hammer. For the reference zero take the stresses in the longitudinal rods before the start of assembly. Adjustment of lengths of longitudinal bars is carried out in series and reach that mounting voltages are an order of magnitude smaller than before. Stresses in longitudinal bars of adjustable length are determined by strain gauges.
EFFECT: increase in the longevity of the suspension of the fuel tanks on the helicopter is achieved due to the absence or significant reduction of the installation stresses.
