FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the synthesis of ozone from oxygen. Ozonator contains two high-resistance electrodes in the form of bands fixed on both surfaces of a dielectric barrier and spaced apart so that the bands of one electrode are arranged in a successively alternating order with respect to the bands of the other electrode. Each band of electrodes is connected to a high voltage source through a resistor. Bands of one electrode are arranged so that the projections of the axial longitudinal lines of these bands on the surface of the arrangement of the bands of the other electrode coincide with the longitudinal line separating the distance between each two bands of this other electrode.
EFFECT: increase the productivity of the device, simplify its design.
