FIELD: mechanical engineering; heat engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing facilities, particularly, to impulse heat engines. Proposed sealing device contains two packs of sealing rings made along mating surfaces in form of truncated cone. Sealing rings are made solid, of elastomer material, and springs are installed between packs of sealing rings to provide their uniform tightening. Bases of inner taper sealing rings are pointed to high pressure side, and rings proper are installed for displacement to compensate for wear.
EFFECT: improved reliability of sealing device.
