FIELD: transport, in particular, vehicles sliding on guiding path.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is composed of combined supports including two parts, namely, stone or ferroconcrete base and metal girder for supporting of metal inclined guide rigidly attached thereto. Apparatus is further provided with corrugations formed on metal supports of vehicles or on inclined guide for sliding on inclined guide or on metal bottom surface of vehicle. In both cases, liquid nitrogen pipes are laid under sliding metal surface for providing icing of inclined guide, said liquid nitrogen being circulated by means of respective equipment and units. Guide and vehicle are enclosed in hermetically sealed enclosure along the entire length of path. Vacuum is maintained in said enclosure. Glass or organic glass is embedded into some portions of enclosure wall. The entire construction of hermetically sealed vehicle embraces guide at both sides by means of spherical supports adapted for preventing guide from swinging. Lifting equipment arranged at terminal points of path is adapted for setting vehicle in initial position for back movement. Lifts with related functioning equipment are positioned at terminal points of path for boarding and exiting of passengers from vehicle. Path is comprised of at least three branches.
EFFECT: reduced power consumed during movement of vehicle.
