SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a device for purification of liquids from mechanical impurities that may be used in oil-producing industry for purification of a drilling mud. The device contains a vertical body with a cover and a bottom. along the axis of the body The liquid activation unit made in the form of an impeller connected with the rotary drive is installed along the axis of the body. The device has a unit of a forced withdrawal of the purified liquid made in the form of the tangential intakes of the liquid. Connecting pipes of inlet and outlet of a liquid are made accordingly in the cover and in the upper part of the body and are partitioned off from each other by a separator of streams and an additional impeller. The technical result consists in an increased reliability of operation of the unit of the forced withdrawal of the purified liquid in case of availability in the liquid exposed to purification of light impurities.
