FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment intended for removal of mechanical impurities and may be used in gas, oil industries, power engineering, etc. Proposed separator comprises vertical casing with bottom and cover, tangential mix inlet, axial tube perforated at top to discharge gas and at bottom to discharge fluid and equipped with top branch pipe to discharge cleaned gas and bottom branch pipe to discharge cleaned fluid, and screen plates arranged under tangential inlet. Bottom is furnished with separator of solids. Top section of perforated tube is located above swirling fluid. Screen plates are composed on overturned cylindrical barrel secured on perforated tube to overlap from outside and above perforated bottom section. Damper is arranged below the barrel and above and composed of radial plates regularly spaced apart along the circle. Barrel bottom is located in area of interaction between fluid vortex and perforated tube wall with deviation not exceeding ±10% of casing diametre. Barrel diametre makes, at least, half the sum of perforated tube diametres at joint between barrel bottom and casing, and, at least, 90% of casing diametre.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, possibility to clean gas-fluid and vapor-water mixed with great amount of gas and/or vapor.
