CENTRIFUGAL GAS-AND-LIQUID SEPARATOR FILTER Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01D45/12 

FIELD: gas and liquid cleaning equipment; gas, oil, power-generating and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has vertical housing with taper bottom and cover; bottom is provided with unit for taking solid fractions; filter is also provided with tangential mixture inlet, axial pipe, shielding taper plates and cleaned gas and liquid outlet branch pipes. Axial pipe is made in form of stack of perforated branch pipes whose lower parts are telescopically introduced into upper parts of other branch pipe at restricted drawing-apart. Lower perforated branch pipe telescopically enters cleaned liquid outlet branch pipe which is bent aside and is provided with valve unit not admitting the gas; it is made for recirculation of liquid with perforated branch pipes drawn apart. Upper end of each perforated branch pipe is provided with shielding taper plates. Upper plate is mounted above tangential inlet. Upper perforated branch pipe is rigidly connected with cleaned gas outlet branch pipe which is tightly mounted in taper cover for fixation against axial upward motion; it is provided with valve unit which admits no liquid ensuring recirculation of gas when perforated branch pipes are in drawn-apart position. Perforations of branch pipes are closed with filters; upper end of each filter is tightly connected with perforated branch pipe above perforations and lower end is connected with upper edge of other perforated branch pipe. Proposed filter may be used for cleaning gas-and-liquid mixture at any content of gas and liquid excluding clogging of filter in case of disturbance of flow.

EFFECT: possibility of self-cleaning of filter; increased overhaul period; improved quality of cleaning.
