SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a dust catching apparatus intended for gas sweetening from a dust in different fields of industry, in particular, in power engineering, ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, cement industry, etc. The dust-catching apparatus includes an electro filter and in series with it installed a fabric filter with a ratio of their active volumes as 0.1-0.9. The apparatus ensures: a maximum efficiency of gas cleaning irrespective of concentration of a dust in the cleaned gas, its dispersity and specific electrical resistance; a big service life between repairs.
EFFECT: the dust catching apparatus ensures a maximum efficiency of gas cleaning and a big service life.
