FIELD: technology of natural substances.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for preparing the pectin preparation involving milling and mixing sunflower heads and citrus husks taken in the ratio from 1:9 to 9:1, hydrolysis-extraction of mixture, separation of liquid phase and isolation of the end product from its. Before mixing the raw is extracted successively with dimethylformamide and liquid acetylene, the prepared solid phase is mixed and subjected for hydrolysis-extraction successively in direct flow and in countercurrent with intermediate squeezing out. Water is used as an extractant at stage of direct flow of the process, and extract separated after countercurrent stage is used at stage of direct flow with addition of acid. The end product is isolated from liquid phase. Method provides enhancing quality of the end product due to elimination of undesirable taste and odor being without deterioration of its technological properties and without reducing the specific yield of pectin.
