FIELD: technology of natural substances.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for preparing the pectin preparation involving milling and mixing sunflower heads and citrus husks taken in the ratio by mass from 1:9 to 9:1, hydrolysis-extraction of mixture, separation of liquid phase and isolation of the end product from its. Hydrolysis-extraction is carried out in direct flow with intermediate squeezing out and using water as an extractant at stage of countercurrent carrying out the process. Extract separated after countercurrent stage is used at stage of countercurrent carrying out the process with addition of acid. The end product is isolated from liquid phase separated after direct flow stage of the process. Method provides enhancing quality of the end product due to elimination of undesirable taste and odor.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, enhanced quality of product.
