FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises assembling the bearing brace, uniformly loading it in the axial direction, and determining axial play and radial run-out. Before determining the radial run-out, the bearing brace is additionally loaded in the axial direction to imitate actual mass. The bench for assembling and running-in of the bearing brace comprises barbet, electric motor with reduction gear, stack of individual detachable disks for axial loading, measuring instruments, stack of additional semi-disks for imitating the actual eccentric mass. The barbet is provided with the centered intermediate ring having diametrically opposite bearing screws for assembling the brace and horizontal areas for the instruments. The output shaft of the reduction gear is provided with the centering adapter made of a coaxially arranged mandrel with the roller for the connection with the bushing of the brace base disk through the brace. The axial loading can be made of simultaneously two stacks, the vertical axes of which are shifted by the value of the eccentricity of the actual mass. One of the disks of the stack, which is the base of the loading, is provided with a centered bushing and can have vertical pillars for loading in case of two stacks. The semi-disks are provided with openings for vertical pillars. The bench is also provided with a device for calibrating, which is made of a lever mounted on the barbet, and loaded slide connected with it in series. The lever is connected with the output shaft of the reduction gear.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the method and improved design of the bench.
