FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to integrated tests of ship propulsion systems. Proposed test bench comprises electric loading machine and inverter. Machine is represented by a ship propulsion system configured to be connected through an adapter coupling to the fixed shaft of the screw of the test system. Inverter is made with possibility of connection to machine and is included into frequency converter. Converter operates in the power receiver mode and comprises a rectifier configured to be connected to the machine. Machine contains vibration and temperature sensors connected to the device for collection, processing and visualization of the obtained results and to the control system. Method of testing complexes consists in the fact that machine is connected through reduction gear or adapter coupling to fixed shaft of test complex screw. Axis of the propulsion motor shaft and the screw shaft of the tested complex, which lies in the horizontal plane, is set at angle of 0 to 360° relative to each other. Screw shaft is subjected to a thrust device. Vibration level is measured and the results are recorded in real time. Compensation rings and torque measurement transducer are placed on the shaft of the screw of the test complex. Machine and/or tested complex is equipped with vibration and temperature sensors. Thrust device simulates creation of thrust characteristics of screw-propeller and provides mechanical pressure on thrust bearing of screw shaft, which transfers pressure to propeller shaft.
EFFECT: enabling determination of vibration characteristics of the tested propulsion system in all operating modes of loading and various angles of mutual orientation of axes of propulsion motor shaft, shaft of column, propeller shaft at the stage of complex manufacturing, before installation on the ship.
