METHOD FOR GENERATING CURRENT IN PHASE WINDINGS OF RELUCTANCE INDUCTOR MOTOR Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2249298 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; generating current in phase windings of reluctance inductor motor.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes initial shaping of current pulse by opening phase switches of voltage inverter; as soon as current is brought to desired value, one of inverter power switches is turned off whereupon it is turned on again, and this process is continued till moment of desired termination of current pulse. Then both switches of voltage inverter are turned off, setting current signal is shaped in the form of periodic triangular signal, switch is turned off as soon as current reaches low setting value and turned on as soon as it is brought to higher setting value in its step-up region. Phase currents are adjusted by varying dc component of setting current; the latter may be of negative value. Setting-current ac component is varied depending on motor operating conditions. In the process rate of phase current ripples is maintained constant.

EFFECT: enhanced degree of using frequency properties of voltage inverter power switches.
