FIELD: mechanical engineering industry; production of detachable joints of a shaft-cartridge type.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with mechanical engineering and may be used for production of detachable joints of a shaft- cartridge type. The method of fixation on a hollow shaft of mated component parts - mainly such as toothed wheels, pulleys, half-couplings and cartridges - provides for application of a functional material 2 with a memory effect of the form on seats of the shaft) 1, realize machining of the produced layer up to the required sizes, conduct a vacuum annealing of the parts and their cooling to the low temperatures with the help of liquid nitrogen, with which fill the internal cavities of the shaft, a running-in by rollers of the applied layer, removal of liquid nitrogen and heat of the shaft till the end of reversible martensite conversion. The functional material is applied using an argon-arc welding deposition of the welding rods made out of a wire with memory of a form and with a step equal to 1-3 diameters of the wire. The technical result consists in production of a pollution-free layer of the material with memory of the form on the shaft and an increase of speed of the welding deposition.

EFFECT: the invention ensures production of a pollution-free layer of the material with memory of the form on the shaft at increased speed of the welding deposition.
