FIELD: radio communications and microwave engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method that can be used in manufacturing power dividers and adders when a number of generators are operating into one transmitting antenna or when multifrequency signals are received by multichannel receiver includes branching of transmission line into N frequency channels and installation of filters in each channel in close proximity of branching point; filters of any type can be used for the purpose; input impedances of filters are shaped to provide for matching each channel at its inherent frequency to transmission line, to ensure physical implementation, as well as isolation of frequency channels. Mathematical formulas are given for evaluating such conditions. Device implementing this method has branched transmission line of N frequency channels; filters in the form of -shaped connection of two reactive two-port networks, two-port network inserted in longitudinal circuit being formed of N series-connected oscillatory circuits and that inserted in transverse line, of inductance coils and capacitors; reactances B1 and B2 of first and second two-port networks chosen to ensure complete matching of each k channel at its inherent frequency to transmission line. Mathematical formulas are given for evaluating these conditions.
EFFECT: reduced power of echo signal from matched inputs and reduced impact of stray signals on transmission between channels being isolated thereby reducing overall loss.
