FIELD: chemical industry; production of polymeric fluted sheets.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the systems for production of items made out of polymeric materials and may be used in chemical industry for production of polymeric sheets of the corrugated form. The system of roll mills for production of polymeric fluted sheets contains rolls with a heating and an adjustable clearance between them. The rolls have a corrugated profile of the molding surfaces made in the form of the convex and concave curves. The form-building surface of the rolls used for the fluted sheets molding is made in the form of parabolic curves with the form of different curvature for ledges and pits. The invention ensures the grater deforming capability and uniformity of a melt polymer distribution.
