FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to it-plate used to produce gaskets to be incorporated with seal assemblies with flat sealed surfaces. IT-plate consists of several layers of polymer composite material made up of rubber vulcanisate matrix containing particles of filler of powder alumina, and/or china-clay, and/or asbestos fibres, and/or polyaramid fibres. Peripheral it-plate layers feature thickness of 0.02-0.06 mm, while three central layers are 0.06-0.09 mm-thick. Note that said peripheral and central layers have different thickness.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of thick sheet production.
