FIELD: computer science.
SUBSTANCE: method includes processing image of recognized object into computer memory, detecting fragments and support points of its contour, fragments are virtually enveloped by round shape, all points of which are moved to points of contour of processed image until some points coincide with points of contour of processed image, and other points form solid boundary between two adjacent points of contour of processed image, in such way fully closing contour while receiving image of recognized object maximally close to recognized object image, which is then converted to standard form for the method - scale is adjusted, image is rotated, centered, inscribed in rectangle, data background is cleaned at area between processed image contour and rectangle, templates are applied to area of image, limited by processed closed contour, these are then compared and recognized.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
