FIELD: automatics and computer engineering, possible use in artificial intelligence systems: access control systems, robotic systems, interacting with operator during production and in other systems.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved because image of face is scaled up to given size, brightness and color saturation of image are evened out with production of first image of face, aforementioned image is compared in digital form in turns to all second images of faces, stored in database, after that second images are divided on blocks with size less than that of first image, and on first image most likely blocks are found by comparison, which are used to form third image of face. Difference between second and third images is calculated, which is compared to predetermined threshold value and if difference does not exceed threshold value, face is considered recognized.
EFFECT: increased precision when recognizing face of an individual on basis of video image.
