FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in development of controlled water flow along full length of fish-passing track, by means of which young fishes that arrived and gathered prior to dam in upper reach of waterworks facility are involved into the movement, and are sent to fish-passing track of fish pass, and then young fishes are taken out into safe area of lower reach of waterworks facility. Controlled water flow is developed in fish pass chamber as a result of water flow supply into jet-forming nozzles arranged along perimetres of swim-in holes, or directly in swim-in holes, or in autonomous channels arranged in separation walls and directed towards upper reach, by subsequent formation of parallel rows of flooded parallel hydraulic jets or arranged at the angle to axis of swim-in hole. Besides jets may be previously twisted. Interaction of these rows of jets is used to develop hydraulic resistance to the main flow that arrives along fish-passing track via fish-pass chambers from upper reach. Hydraulic resistance helps to create favourable conditions for passage of young fishes through water-drain tray and swim-in holes of fish-pass from upper reach of waterworks facility into lower reach. Speed of controlled water flow is assigned provided that young fishes pass safely through fish-passing track and swim-in holes of fish pass.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for free and safe descent of young fishes through dams of waterworks facilities of various purpose.
