FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: waterworks designed for organizing backwater and delivering it to water intake, discharging flood water, and passing fish from lower to upper pond of waterworks has spillway with flumes and fish ladder some of whose chambers are placed above spillway flumes and upper end of fishway is parallel to spillway flumes. Spillway flume abutting against downstream part of fishway is provided with gate valve; intermediate chamber of fishway arranged within its reach forms, together with spillway flume and regrading wall located between flume and intermediate chamber, additional upper end of fishway. Length of regrading wall is chosen so as to set up attractive speeds downstream of its lower end. EFFECT: improved efficiency of fish passage through spillway at great changes in upper-pond water level. 4 dwg
