FIELD: thermometry.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for contact-free methods of measuring temperatures of objects finding place at extreme areas. Thermo-sensitive element is placed onto object and photo-luminescent spectrum of thermo-sensitive element is measured before and after high temperatures effect the object. Temperature of object is determined by narrowing in spectral bandwidth. Arsenic sulfide particles (with sizes within nm range) in borosilicate glass are used as thermo-sensitive element.
EFFECT: widened range of remote measurement.
