FIELD: electric engineering, possible use for cleaning wires of high voltage power lines from ice coating.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, device contains ice cutters with toothed elements positioned on both sides of body, first and second mobile rings, inside which a wire passes, two electromagnets with electromagnet power supply, which is connected to ice coating sensor and to radio control block placed in the body, where aforementioned rings are made in form of resiliently connected semi-rings of ferromagnetic material, and also contains immoveable ring, consisting of semi-rings, connected by nonmagnetic non-conductive material and connected to mobile rings by resilient connection, where immobile ring is positioned in such a way, that recesses are turned for 90° relatively to recesses of mobile rings.
EFFECT: signaling and prevention of ice formation on electric line wires.
