FIELD: transport engineering; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake master cylinders of hydraulic brake systems. Proposed brake master cylinder includes housing, at least one piston, central valve of piston containing rod in form of solid of revolution passing through central channel of piston. Seal, spring and lock are fitted in piston space. Rod of central valve is formed by pushing and guide parts combined by support belt. Seal of central valve is made in form of bushing and is installed to thrust against end face of support belt of rod on its pushing part whose free section is located in central channel of piston with radial ring clearance. Guide part of rod is arranged in central hole of guide bushing spring-loaded relative to other end face of support belt of rod being arranged in central hole of lock made detachable whose outer diameters corresponding to diameter of piston space. Guide bushing is made with through longitudinal channels on outer surface.
EFFECT: increased service life of brake master cylinder, simplified assembling and repair, improved manufacturability of components owing to simplified design.
