FIELD: electrochemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to electrochemical technology and may be used in processes dealt with regulation of the acid-base and oxidation-reduction properties, biological activity of water and water solutions in the diaphragm activators. The device for the electrochemical activation of water and water solutions consists of the coaxially located positively and negatively charged electrodes, the semipermeable diaphragm between them, the lower and upper collector head with hydraulic channels strapped with the help of a threaded connection. The negatively charged electrode is made out of a profiled sheet metal and placed inside an enveloping pipe. A positively charged electrode is made out of a profiled sheet metal and mounted with enveloping of an iron rod with the thread tips. The length of the negative electrode is limited by the upper edge of the outlet branch-pipe of catholyte. The length of the positive electrode is limited by the upper edge of the outlet branch-pipe of an anolyte. The technical result consists in an increased productivity and decreased electric power consumption for obtaining the given potential of activation.
EFFECT: the invention ensures increased productivity and decreased electric power consumption for obtaining the given potential of activation.
