FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electrovortex water treatment with regulation of its redox properties. The water electroactivator has coaxially placed electrodes with a semipermeable diaphragm in between. The electrodes are placed in a dielectric cover which acts as the housing. The outer electrode is a stainless steel pipe on which there is an opening with a dielectric bushing for mounting a conductor for applying electric potential to the inner electrode. The inner electrode consists of a cylindrical rod with a helical guide with a left-sided winding. On the inlet part of the electroactivator, the cylindrical rod has a bladed guide apparatus with left-sided semi-helical blades. The inlet and outlet parts of the cylindrical rod are conical. The external diametre of the bladed guide of the inner electrode is made under the condition that the semipermeable diaphragm can be mounted and dismantled. Electric potential is applied to the outer electrode through a bus and to the inner electrode through a conductor fitted in the threaded opening the winding of the helical guide.
EFFECT: simplification of design, obtaining a single stream of water at given potential.
