SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the electrochemical treatment of water used for the potable purposes in the industry, medicine, agriculture, in cattle-breeding, poultry farming, beekeeping, fish-farming and also in the systems of drip irrigation. The device contains: the coaxially located positively and negatively charged electrodes, the semipermeable diaphragm placed between them, the lower and the upper collector heads with the hydraulic channels contracted by the threaded connection. The negatively charged electrode is made in the form of the hollow cylinder with a screw-type groove on its inner surface is mounted upright and fulfills the function of the body. The positively charged electrode is made in the form of the rod with the screw-type heads, the outer surfaces of which have the screw-type grooves. The pitch of thread of the grooves on the rod is made equal to the pitch of thread of the grooves of the negatively charged electrode, and the prominences of the screw-type grooves of the rod are located opposite to the screw-type grooves of the negatively charged electrode and are parted by the parted cylindrical separator made out of the microporous plastic. The length of the screw-type groove of the positive electrode is less than the length of the screw-type groove of the negative electrode. The technical result of the invention is the increased efficiency and decreased power consumption for production of the given potential of activation, the improved quality of activation.
