FIELD: electrical engineering; incandescent lamps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed incandescent lamp has bulb 1, filament 2 disposed in bulb 1, and additional heater 4 for indirect heating of filament 2; the latter emits both visible light and heat. Heater 4 is, essentially, electric current heated incandescence member disposed within lateral surface of cylinder or within half of cylinder lateral surface formed by filament, or precisely speaking, within body of revolution formed by filament.
EFFECT: reduced power requirement for heating filament of light source.
