SUBSTANCE: proposed bumper contains hollow body, movable link of bumper bar with rods, deformable units made in from of plate diaphragms with concentric holes alternating with matrices arranged on inner wall of body and contacting with rods of movable link. In case of collision, plate diaphragms are deformed by rods of movable link, thus killing force of impact.
EFFECT: provision of damping of impact force at uniform load on vehicle, simplified design of bumper, reduced metal usage and overall dimensions.
