INTERMEDIATE RAIL FASTENING ANCHOR Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for fastening of rails to reinforced concrete ties. In proposed anchor of intermediate rail fastening, lower part of anchor is secured in under-rail support and upper part with one or several fixing holes adapted for fixing resilient bar clamp projects over under-rail support. Upper part of anchor, being essentially a rod, is provided with detachable support member in which at least one fixing hole is made coaxial with fixing hole of anchor. Lower end face surface of support member rests on under-rail plate. Support member is made cylindrical. Elastic bushing, for instance, rubber one, is installed between anchor and support member.

EFFECT: provision of simple design and low cost anchor for intermediate rail fastening without affecting its strength characteristics.
