HYDRAULIC DAMPER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic damper has housing with dampers and cylinder-and-piston group located in this housing forming circular chamber. Rod of cylinder-and-piston group is connected with ear and is passed through cylinder guide fitted with circular projection at the end. Damper is also provided with rod seal and its support which consists of inner and outer rings. Outer ring is bonded to upper portion of housing. Inner ring is provided with centering projection and two bores which form outer and inner flanges. Head of ear is provided with end slot. Outer ring is secured to cylinder by welding and is secured to inner ring through threaded joint. Rod is connected with ear by means of three-dimensional articulated joint made in form of intermediate shaft passed through head of ear and rod received by end slot of head. Additional seal is engageable with central projection and outer flange of inner ring. Rod seal is engageable with inner flange of inner ring. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 tbl
