FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: device has torque transfer gear, containing body, inserts with slanting grooves made on their inner surface, with flat bottom for wedges and holder for leading pipe, all placed in profiled rotor aperture. Body, inserts with wedges and leading pipe holder are provided with slit connections, placed at same level with profiled rotor aperture with possible mutual interaction, while slit connection between inserts and wedges is formed by flat bottom and side limiting walls of slanting grooves of inserts and matching wedges surface, while width B of wedge contact surface with insert is determined from formula B≥2Mrot·a·tg(α+ϕ)/P·R, where B - width of contact surface of wedge and insert; Mrot - torque, necessary for rotating pipes column; a - distance from outer pipe surface to contact surface of wedge and insert in zone of profiled rotor aperture; α - slanting angle of flat support surface of wedges; ϕ - friction angle on contact surface of wedges and inserts; R - radius of contact surface of wedge and pipe; P - mass of held pipes column.
EFFECT: higher durability, higher reliability, higher personnel safety, lower costs.
