FIELD: gas and oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: device for clamping drill pipes in rotary table has body 1 including bushing 2, inserts 3, centering device 31, slips 4 with holders 5. Roller clamp 6 of relly 7 has body 8 and spring-loaded rockers. Body 8 of roller clamp 6 has stops 12 movably installed in longitudinal recesses 11. Located on stops 12 are rockers and disk springs 14 through pin 13. Turning inserts 15 engageable with kelly 7 are located under rockers at the level of spline projections 17 in round recesses. Installed in body 1 under holders 5 are limiters of motion of slips 4. Roller clamp 6 is located in cylindrical recess 27 of bushing 2 and in conical recess with splines in recess 29. In this case, it rests on conical surface 30 of centering device 31. EFFECT: longer service life and higher reliability and reduced labor input in manufacture of device. 7 dwg
