SUBSTANCE: method comprises rotating the outer races of the bearings by a given angle with respect to the markers that allows the markers of the maximum value of the radial wobbling of the front bearing and minimum value of the radial wobbling of the back bearing to be in coincidence in a single plane. When the bearing unit is mounted in the housing, the coincident coordinates of the radial wobbling of the outer races of the bearings should be located in the zone of their contact with the base surfaces of the housing openings. In operation, the force vector of an article is perpendicular to the plane which passes through the center of symmetry of the unit and two points of contact of the bearings with the base openings in the housing.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance.
