FIELD: method for isolation of biologically active compounds from licorice.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes licorice root extraction with liquid ammonia in aqueous acetone solution, liquid phase separation, concentration thereof and target product isolation from concentrate, wherein aqueous acetone solution and ammonia are separately fed in extraction step. Liquid ammonia is fed in discontinuous manner and when ammonia is not fed pressure in extraction mixture if periodically decompressed to provide extractant boiling.
EFFECT: shorter technological cycle; isolation of biologically active compounds from licorice without changing of extract composition.
