FIELD: method for isolation of biologically active compounds from licorice.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes licorice root extraction with liquid ammonia, liquid phase separation and distillation of extractant at elevated temperature and/or decreased pressure to produce target product. When extraction pressure in extraction mixture if periodically decompressed to provide ammonia boiling and increased up to starting value.
EFFECT: shorter technological cycle; decreased energy consumption.
